National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO)
  NAPO was founded in 1978 after the dissolution of the International Conference of Police Associations (ICPA). NAPO's purpose has been to serve as a unified voice for law enforcement at the federal level. The objective of NAPO is to unite all police officer organizations within the U.S. in order to promote and maintain federal legislation most benficial to law enforcement in general, and the protection of citizens of this nation.

Currently NAPO represents more than 4,000 police unions and associations, with a membership representing over 220,000 sworn law enforcement officers.

NYS Public Employee Conference (PEC)
  The Conference was established in 1977 with 13 participating unions and has grown to 48 unions, representing approximately one million members. It was formed to share communication and legislation for public employees across New York State. The legislative agenda adopted by PEC must be developed and unanimously approved by all unions represented at the Annual Conference.

The Conference is one of the most highly respected organizations by our elected State officials.
